A strange, unknown virus has transformed most of the people living in major cities into walking dead. It spreads quickly across the planet, infecting anyone it can reach. You play as one of the few survivors who made it through the first wave, but now every step you take carries serious danger. The walking dead roam everywhere, and reaching the military base means fighting your way through several city blocks crawling with mutants.

Gameplay follows the format of a standard first-person shooter: your character stays in one spot and can only fire back at enemies, toss grenades and use first aid kits. Enemies attack in waves. The early ones are easy to handle, but closer to the second dozen you'll need to aim for the head every time. The fewer bullets you spend, the more money and experience points you earn. Aim by swiping, while buttons along the edges of the screen let you reload, switch weapons, throw grenades, and apply first aid kits and antidotes in case zombies manage to bite you.

Between battles against mutants, head back to the main menu to upgrade your weapons, buy extra equipment and a sturdier bulletproof vest. With each new level the number of enemies grows, and they start moving faster, rushing you and infecting you with deadly poison. Stay alert and don't let them get close.
