Calculate both with ease! It's ideal for planning catering for parties and wedding receptions. The app relies on the BAC formula for its calculations, which keeps the results precise.
Enter a volume in either imperial or metric units, a proof (0 to 200), and a price. The currency doesn't matter. The app then shows the cost of pure alcohol per unit. For example, a 750ml bottle at 80 proof priced at $10 works out to 3.3 cents per milliliter of pure alcohol. A 64oz bottle at 90 proof with the same price per unit comes to 0.52 Euros per ounce.
Use the party estimator to figure out how much alcohol you'll need. Fill in all the fields, then adjust the slider to set the average blood alcohol content (how tipsy you want guests to get). Keep in mind this is only an average, and each person is responsible for how much they drink, since some may consume more than others. Based on the BAC algorithm, the app estimates the amount of alcohol required. Since most liquor comes in 1.75L or 0.75L bottles, the results are displayed in liters.
